John, Liz, Nick and the team at Yeoman Haylage are delighted to be congratulating 13 year old Bristol based rider Ellie Mae Harrington who has just taken the coveted ‘Supreme Pony’ title at the 2021 Horse of the Year Show riding her magnificent Yeoman Haylage fuelled pony Roseberry Final Edition (known affectionately at home as ‘Eddie’).
Produced by Gill Thompson and her team, eight year old Eddie is by Rotherwood Pepping Tom, out of Litonhills Country Class and prior to taking the Supreme Pony Championship title, Ellie Mae and Eddie were the winners of the 148cm Children’s Riding Pony of the Year class.
Commented Liz, “To get to where Ellie Mae and Eddie are by winning the Supreme Pony Championships at HOYS this year is the dream of the many thousands of young riders on the riding pony circuit and is just reward for their dedication, determination and passion for their sport. This victory is well deserved and we are all delighted that Eddie is fuelled by our ryegrass haylage”.
