New Stockist of Yeoman Haylage – White Lodge Veterinary Clinic at Minehead

WhiteLodgeVetClinicWhite Lodge Veterinary Clinic have just opened their brand new centre at Ellicombe Farm, Minehead and Yeoman Haylage are proud to be delivering haylage to them.

From a converted house on Whitegate Road to three practices, nine vets and a large support team, White Lodge has made quite a transformation over the last 21 years. The newest edition is possibly the biggest venture for them yet. Why not get in touch with them at Ellicombe Farm, Ellicombe, Minehead, Somerset, TA24 6TR or call them on 01643 703649.

The new site’s manager, Claire Godfrey, who has been with White Lodge throughout their expansion, began her career as a veterinary nurse, teaming this with her personal passion for horses and farm life, she will, without doubt, be a great fountain of knowledge to set the new clinic and feed store on its way to success.

WhiteLodgeStore2Before the official opening on Sunday 26th April, White Lodge staff started using Yeoman Haylage for their own horses and this is what they have to say:

”My horses are usually really fussy eaters, but they loved it! It didn’t last long and they couldn’t get enough of it!”

”I’ve been converted! Always used big bales of haylage straight from a local provider, but I often found it very weedy, or stale. This smelt and felt incredible, and my horses finished the lot every night!”

”I have a horse who is quite highly strung, so was apprehensive to feed haylage due to the extra sugar… I’m amazed that it hasn’t effected her temperament at all. I’ve also been able to reduce my hard feed as she’s doing very well on haylage and grass!”

White LodgeJohn Bosley and the team at Yeoman Haylage know all their hard work is worthwhile when they read comments like these. Thank-you everyone at White Lodge and good luck with your wonderful new facility.

“I have been using Yeoman Haylage for several years now for my show-jumpers, including the winner of the Hickstead Derby and they always thrive and look well on Yeoman haylage. Importantly the small haylage bales are easy to transport so the horses don’t have any change in their feed when away at shows.”
