King of the Brits at the European Championships

Riding on the wave of her two victories in both CCI4* events at Bramham in June and Burgham in July on the brilliant 10 year old Vendredi Biats owned by Diana Bown, Sally Eyre, Samantha Wilson and Sally Lloyd-Baker, former Olympic rider and top eventer Kitty King has returned victorious from the Longines European Championships in Luhmuhlen in Germany being the highest scoring British rider taking 7th place as an individual for Great Britain, ahead of the Team GB Silver Medal winning team of Tina Cook, Pippa Funnell, Piggy French and Oliver Townend, three of whom have just swept the leaderboards taking the top prizes at the famous Land Rover 5* Burghley Horse Trials, with Pippa taking the coveted title in 1st place, Piggy the runner up and Oliver in 3rd place.

Having proven themselves in the world of top class eventing as serious contenders for the Tokyo Olympics in 2020, we are ever hopeful that Kitty and Vendredi Biats will get the call-up this talented duo have been training so hard for. We wish Kitty luck.

“I have been using Yeoman Haylage for several years now for my show-jumpers, including the winner of the Hickstead Derby and they always thrive and look well on Yeoman haylage. Importantly the small haylage bales are easy to transport so the horses don’t have any change in their feed when away at shows.”
