What a pleasure it was to meet 16 year old Harry Robinson who was competing at the BE event at Pontispool on his 8 year old Yeoman Haylage fuelled mare Bella this May. Harry, who lives near Exeter is doing great things in the world of tetrathlons and eventing and is currently a student at Bicton College on a Military & Protective Services course and hopes to progress to the Household Cavalry. This super motivated talented young man is surely going to go far.
He’s an active member of the Mid Devon Pony Club and particularly enjoys Tetrathlon (shooting, running, swimming & cross country riding). His team have represented the South West Pony Club region at Regional Tetrathlon Championships & also qualified & competed for their Mid Devon PC at the Pony Club Championships in 2001. They have recently qualified for the NSEA (National Schools EquestrianAssociation) 90 cm 3DE Championship to take place later this summer. At Pontispool this May, Harry and Bella came 10th in the BE 90cm.
He’s hoping to move up to 1m BE later this summer & also hoping to qualify for the Pony Club Championships. John, Liz, Nick and the team at Yeoman Haylage wish you success Harry and feel sure you will carry on doing great things.
Harry’s Mum Di says “It was good to meet & chat to Lindsey from the team at Pontispool recently. We’ve been using Yeoman Haylage for some time now. We’ve always been pleased with the friendly reliable service you’ve offered and it’s a good quality product. It has certainly helped with our ponies & competition horse”.
