Olympian Eventer Kitty King Hosts Lunch for Owners, Sponsors, Supporters & Staff

Owners, sponsors, supporters and family members were invited to a fabulous lunch at the Hullavington Arms, Hullavington in Wiltshire yesterday by kind invitation of Olympic eventer Kitty King from Chippenham as a thank-you .

Pre lunch drinks were served as guests arrived. John invited me to go along as Liz was unable to so I felt very lucky to be there. Kitty thanked all her owner, sponsors, supporters, family and staff then around 40 guests took their seats for a delicious lunch followed by an invitation to go back to Kitty’s yard to meet the horses and afternoon tea.

Ceylor LAN – all 17.2hh of you gorgeous boy – meeting you up close made my day! What a fantastic horse you are!

During the yard tour, guests met all the event horses that Kitty competes on including the amazing Ceylor LAN who was Kitty’s Olympic horse for Rio. Guests also met the magnificent Vendredi Biats having returned from the European Championships in Germany in 2019 as the leading British combination. What a horse! Such a presence and so clever. What an absolute joy for those of us attending. And how lovely it was to chat to the owners of these top class horses. It’s such a privilege to know that Kitty uses Yeoman Haylage when she’s travelling to events. Huge thanks to Kitty and her wonderful team.

Just look at all those amazing awards that belong to Kitty and Vendredi Biats! Meeting you was wonderful. So many wins at the top level. Very special horse!

Great to meet other Sponsors attending the event:

Toggi Champion Equestrian Wear TopSpec Woof Wear Fairfax Saddles Mole Valley Farmers Equestrian Aqueos Equiclass Boots Yeoman Haylage Flying Changes Bespoke Jackets & Tailcoats Equestrian Team GBR

“I have been using Yeoman Haylage for several years now for my show-jumpers, including the winner of the Hickstead Derby and they always thrive and look well on Yeoman haylage. Importantly the small haylage bales are easy to transport so the horses don’t have any change in their feed when away at shows.”
