Winners of the ‘Likit’ Open Eventing League 2017 from several Pony Clubs in the UK attended a Prize Presentation and Yard Tour at the home of Olympic eventer Kitty King near Chippenham in Wiltshire on Saturday 3rd February.
The 10 strong group of up and coming top eventers watched a riding demonstration by Kitty as well as attending a Feeding and Fitness session. They also got to meet all the horses on the yard including Kitty’s Olympic ride, the magnificent Ceylor LAN.
Owner and producer of Yeoman Haylage, John Bosley who supplies Kitty with haylage for travelling to events, gave an informative talk about the benefits of feeding haylage and also explained the different types of haylage on the market.
The group were presented with winners rugs and a Likit Starter Kit each, generously provided by the Pony Club.
Kitty’s sponsors including Fairfax Saddles, Aqueous, Toggi, Champion Equestrian Wear and Flying Changes Bespoke Jackets and Tailcoats also provided prizes for the group who all agreed they had learnt a lot and thanked the Pony Club and Kitty for making it possible to have access to such inspirational people.
